Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Chiller Service Engineer to join our Heathrow Airport team. The role covers planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and electrical/refrigeration troubleshooting to ensure reliability of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.

You will read schematics, diagnose faults, and document service activities while following health and safety procedures. A UK driving licence and F-Gas 1 certification are required; BMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Essential NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (Level 3 desirable).
• F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
• Experience servicing air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Desirable BMS or controls experience.
• Experience working in airports or other critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Reactive repairs and fault diagnosis.
• Electrical, refrigeration and controls troubleshooting.
• Identification of equipment improvements and upgrades.
• Completion of service documentation.
• Compliance with all health and safety procedures.
• Support for associated HVAC equipment, including AHUs, ventilation and cooling systems.

What You Will Do

What We Are Looking For
