Job summary

Johnson Controls (Heathrow) seeks a Chiller Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair a range of chiller systems at Heathrow Airport. The role is site-based with occasional travel to other locations, offering progression and ongoing training.

You will handle planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and electrical/controls troubleshooting across air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, with opportunities to lead upgrades and improvements while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (Level 3 desirable).
• F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
• Experience servicing and maintaining air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.
• Strong fault-finding skills across refrigeration, electrical and controls systems.
• Experience with York, Trane and Carrier.
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Reactive repairs and fault diagnosis.
• Electrical, refrigeration and controls troubleshooting.
• Identification of equipment improvements and upgrades.
• Completion of service documentation.
• Compliance with all health and safety procedures.
• You may also support associated HVAC equipment, including AHUs, ventilation and cooling systems.
