Job summary

ABP UK Penston site in Glasgow is seeking an enthusiastic production operative on the chill production line. You will cut, bone, process and package goods to a quality standard and deadlines, with focus on safety, quality and hygiene.

You’ll work in a chilled environment on a busy line, handling butchery implements and machinery, and you’ll contribute to traceability, labeling integrity and continuous line efficiency.

Qualifications

• Speak, read and understand basic English.
• Basic numeracy skills.
• Experience on a production line handling food items.
• Able to work in a chilled environment.
• Flexible, adaptable and keen to learn.

Responsibilities

• Produce products meeting company standards to planned volume and schedule.
• Ensure replenishment requirements are met.
• Adhere to quality, food safety, hygiene, labeling and allergen handling processes.
• Follow traceability and maintain labeling integrity.
• Drive line efficiency through proper machine operation.
• Keep records and documentation up to date.
• Comply with company policies, SOPs and safe operating procedures.
• Maintain regular attendance and provide flexibility to meet needs.
