ABP UK in Glasgow is seeking a General Operative for the chill production line, performing cleaning and hygiene tasks to meet quality, health and safety standards. You will follow procedures, maintain accurate records and support line efficiency on a full-time on-site basis.

Successful candidates will have basic English and numeracy, good communication, and a willingness to learn in a chilled production environment. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Basic English literacy required.
• Basic numeracy skills.
• Good communication skills at all levels.
• Experience in a chilled environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete required hygiene activities to meet planned volume and schedule.
• Ensure adherence to quality, food safety, hygiene, and allergen handling processes.
• Support line efficiency through correct schedule adherence and hygiene practices.
• Maintain required records.
• Ensure familiarity with and compliance to company policies and SOPs.
• Attend work reliably and flexibly meet operating needs.
• Provide clear verbal and written communication to team members and supervisors.
• Use chemicals properly and follow safe working practices for food and personal safety.
• Support team performance, engagement and ongoing learning.
