Zusammenfassung

Cambian Group Plc is seeking staff for sleep-in care roles across its children’s homes in the UK. The position involves meeting Ofsted-regulated needs, planning rotas, and supporting management in daily operations to create a safe, family environment for children.

There is a focus on using electronic care recording systems daily, with training provided. Experience with Clearcare is advantageous but not essential; all staff must confidently use digital systems as part of the role.

Qualifikationen

• You must be 21 due to Ofsted regulations.
• Experience in Children’s residential care for at least six months.
• Driving is essential due to locations of the homes.

• Assisting the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager in implementing the Statement of Purpose.

• Supervising in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager.
• Welcoming a diverse culture in the home.
• Creating a safe, family environment for the children.

Essential Information

• £2800 to £3600 per annum sleep in payments (based 8-10 sleep ins per month)
• 224 hours of paid annual leave per annum, rising to 240 hours after 5 years
• The shifts consist of long hours and sleep ins (which are essential) and the hours differ depending on which home you are based in

Job role

• Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations
• Planning team rotas to supporting the Deputy and home manager in various meetings and appointments
• Assisting the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose
• To carry out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager
• To supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager

New staff must be comfortable using an electronic care recording system on a daily basis to document, monitor, and update children and young people’s records accurately. Experience with Clearcare is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided. However, all staff are expected to confidently use digital systems as part of their day-to-day role.
