Job summary

Cambian Group Plc invites applications for Residential Team Leader roles across our homes. You will lead a team delivering high-quality care for children and young people, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and fostering a safe family atmosphere.

Shifts include long hours with essential sleep-ins. Applicants must be 21+, hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare, and have a driving licence. Generous sleep-in payments and leave are offered, with pension enrolment after probation.

Qualifications

• You must be 21 or older due to Ofsted regulations.
• Full clean driving licence is essential due to home locations.
• At least six months' experience in children’s residential care.

Responsibilities

• Meet the needs of Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations.
• Plan team rotas to support Deputy and home manager in meetings/appointments.
• Support Registered/Deputy Manager in implementing the Statement of Purpose.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by the Registered/Deputy Manager.
• Supervise in the absence of the Registered/Deputy Manager.
• Create a safe, family environment and welcome a diverse culture.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Residential Team Leaders! We are looking for Team Leaders who are caring and compassionate individuals with the desire to make a positive difference to the lives of our incredible children and young people through leading by example to other children's and young person’s support workers.

Essential Information

• £2800 to £3600 sleep in payments (based on 8-10 sleep ins per month)
• 224 hours of paid annual leave per annum, rising to 240 hours after 5 years
• The shifts consist of long hours and sleep ins (which are essential) and the hours differ depending on which home you are based in

Job role

• Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations
• Planning team rotas to supporting the Deputy and home manager in various meetings and appointments
• Assisting the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose
• To carry out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager
• To supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager
• Welcome a diverse culture in the home
• Creating a safe, family environment for the children

Requirements

• You MUST be 21 due to Ofsted regulations
• Driving is essential due to locations of the homes
• You must have at least six months experience in Children’s residential care and you must hold a relevant level 3 qualification
