Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is recruiting a Children's Residential Support Worker for a busy Bridgend service in South Wales. The role involves hands-on support for children and young people with daily routines, safety, structure, and positive outcomes in a nurturing, trauma-informed environment.

You will work a rolling rota (days, waking nights, weekends) with advance rotas and have opportunities to progress, for example moving up to Shift Lead with a higher hourly rate.

Qualifications

• A genuine commitment to safeguarding and improving outcomes for children and young people
• Experience in a care/support setting (children's residential experience is desirable)
• Flexibility to work a rolling rota including days, waking nights, and weekends (2 days / 2 nights / 4 off)

Employment Type: Permanent (Full-time, 42 hours per week)

We're recruiting a Childrens Residential Support Worker to join a children's residential service in Bridgend, Bridgend County Borough. This is a hands‑on role supporting children and young people with daily routines, safety, structure, and positive outcomes within a nurturing, trauma-informed environment.
