Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Children's Support Worker in Cardiff to support children and young people in residential services. The role involves direct care, safeguarding, and helping with daily activities, trips, and outings to promote independence.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People or equivalent.
• At least 6 months' experience working with children or within a similar social care setting.
• A valid UK Driving Licence.
• An Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Restraint training certification (TMVA) or willingness to undertake a 3-day restraint training course.
• A genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
• Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
