Job summary

TipTopJob is recruiting an experienced Registered Manager for a brand new children's home in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. You will lead a dedicated staff team, ensure Ofsted compliance, and foster safe, nurturing environments for vulnerable children.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (Children and Young People) or equivalent, with progression towards Level 5 Leadership and Management. Salary £55,000–£60,000 DOE, full-time, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (Children and Young People) or equivalent.
• Willing to enrol in Level 5 Leadership and Management.
• Experience in a children's residential setting preferred.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and child-centric approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the setup and development of a new childrens home.
• Assist in leading and supporting a motivated staff team.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards.
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies.
• Support recruitment, staff development, and supervision processes.
• Contribute to effective budget and resource management.
• Promote a child-centred culture focused on safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.

An amazing brand new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager for a new childrens home based in the Worksop, Nottinghamshire area. You will be working for one of UKs leading healthcare providers
This is an amazing childrens care service and provides caring, supportive homes for children in the North West and Midlands, focusing on their wellbeing, personal growth, and development in a safe and nurturing environment
To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (Children and Young People or equivalent) : working towards Level 5 or willing to enrol

As The Manager Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Support with the setup and development of a new childrens home
• Assist in leading and supporting a motivated staff team
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
• Support recruitment, staff development, and supervision processes
• Contribute to effective budget and resource management
• Promote a child:centred culture focused on safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes

• Experience working in a childrens residential setting
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and childrens needs
• Leadership potential with excellent communication skills
