Children's Home Manager - Liverpool

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Manager to lead and manage a children's home in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people, ensuring they receive the highest standards of care and support.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Leading, motivating, and managing a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care.
2. Ensuring that all staff are appropriately trained, supported, and supervised.
3. Fostering a positive and supportive environment for both staff and children.
4. Ensuring that each child’s needs are met through personalised care plans.
5. Promoting the emotional, physical, and social development of the children.
6. Advocating for the children’s best interests and well-being.
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
8. Maintaining up-to-date records and reports as required by regulatory bodies.
9. Overseeing the maintenance and safety of the home.
10. Building and maintaining positive relationships with parents, carers, social workers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in social work, childcare, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing a children’s home or a similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
