Advantage Healthcare Limited, part of CCH, is seeking a confident and nurturing care professional to support a 14-year-old boy with a brain injury in school in Nottingham. You will provide personal care, ventilator management, PEG support, suction, and help with activities during the school day.

Full nurse-led training will be provided. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and make a real difference in the client’s life.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have complex care experience and be kind, caring and reliable.
• Full nurse-led training will be provided.
• Ability to build rapport with clients, especially young people, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend school with the client and provide care throughout the school day.
• Support the client with activities and daily routines.
• Perform personal care tasks and assist with mobility.

What you’ll do

We are looking for a confident and nurturing care professional to support a very special client of ours. Our client is a 14 year old boy with a brain injury. With this role you will be attending school with him, providing his care needs and supporting him with activities throughout the school day.

The Key tasks include:

• Personal care
• Ventilator management
• PEG Support
• Suction
• Administer medication
• Moving and handling

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be kind, caring and reliable. Someone that is enthusiastic, shows initiative and can build a good rapport with people, especially little ones!
