Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking a Children's Support Worker for a home-based role in Newhaven, East Sussex. You will care for and support young people, providing activities, education and therapeutic support within a 2 on, 4 off shift pattern that includes sleep-in shifts.

The role offers a starting salary £34,000 (incl. 2 sleep-ins per week), a full-time contract and generous leave plus development opportunities. UK driving license and right to work are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in social care, education, youth justice or custodial OR experience in the army, police force, ambulance, paramedic.
• Full UK Driving License and Vehicle.
• Full Right To Work in the UK (no sponsorship available)

My client operates children's homes across the UK and they are looking for Children's Support Worker based in a home in Newhaven, East Sussex.

The role will include caring and supporting young people who are in the home with activities, hobbies, education, behaviour and emotion regulation and management, therapeutic support.

This is role is working on a 2 on, 4 off shift pattern which will include 2 consecutive sleep in shifts, you must be able to commit to this pattern.
