Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates seeks a dedicated Support Worker for a 4-bed residential children’s home in the UK. You will support young people with trauma, helping them develop independence and healthy routines in a safeguarding-focused environment. The role involves long shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.

A driver with a full UK licence is required; sponsorship is not available. Salary is £31,000 OTE including sleep-ins, with potential to reach up to £34,000 including bonuses.

We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join my clients 4 bed residential children's home supporting young people with healing their trauma.This is a trauma-informed environment where patience, resilience, consistency and genuine care are essential.

This role requires real dedication and heart, as you will be supporting young people who may have experienced significant trauma and challenging life experiences.

The role also requires flexibility, with long shifts including days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in shifts.

What's on offer:

£31,000 OTE including sleep ins

Opportunity to earn up to £34,000 including bonuses

Full-time, permanent position

The Role:

As a Support Worker, you will:

Support children with their emotional, physical and developmental needs

Build positive and trusting relationships with young people

Support young people who have experienced trauma in a therapeutic way

Encourage positive activities, routines and life experiences

Help young people develop independence and confidence

Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team
