Job summary

South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust in Sunderland is recruiting several Children's Wellbeing Practitioners to join our mental health service.

You will deliver low-intensity, evidence-based interventions to children, young people and families, and provide training and supervision to staff.

The role works within an iTHRIVE multi-agency model across community bases, with a commitment to early identification and positive mental health outcomes for CYP.

Qualifications

• Qualified CYPMH Practitioner (PGDip) or equivalent registration in core governing body.
• Registration with BABCP/BPS as CYPMH Practitioner or willingness to register within six months.
• Experience delivering low intensity psychological interventions for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, evidence-based interventions and outcome-focused care to children and families.
• Provide high-quality training, consultation, and support to other staff.
• Collaborate with multi-professional teams to ensure safe, evidence-based practice.
• Promote engagement with service users and carers within the Getting Help/Getting More Help pathway.
