Job summary

Living Well Consortium seeks Trainee Children's Wellbeing Practitioners to deliver brief interventions for children and families within the NHS Talking Therapies framework. The traineeship includes University of Northampton teaching, self-directed study, and a placement with Living Well Consortium, starting January 2027.

Candidates should hold a 2:2+ honours degree in psychology or sociology and have at least one year of relevant work or volunteering experience.

Qualifications

• Honours degree (2:2 or above) in Psychology or Sociology
• At least 1 year of work or volunteering experience supporting children/young people with their mental health

Responsibilities

• Deliver brief therapeutic early interventions for children and adolescents with mild to moderate anxiety and depression and parents
• Support community mental health promotion through psychoeducation, training, group work and CYP/parent participation
