Active Care Group is seeking a part-time Children's Support Worker in Shrewsbury to assist a 10-year-old boy with cerebral visual impairment during golf and scouts activities, Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
You will need a car and driving ability to transport him to activities, with ongoing shifts and planned rotas. The role offers training and development opportunities within a supportive care team.

Hours: Part time - Tuesday evenings (approx. 5.30pm-9.30pm) and Sunday afternoons (approx. 3.30pm-6.30pm)
Pay: up to £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Requirements: We require a driver with a car for this role.
Our client is a 10 year old little boy who has cerebral visual impairment. Due to his visual impairment, he needs supervision, prompts, reminders and support with navigating unfamiliar environments.
He lives at home with his mum and twin sister.
We are looking to recruit a Support Worker to take our client to do activities to include golf and scouts.
In this role, you'll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.
