Job summary

Active Assistance in Llanrug, part of Active Care Group, is hiring a Support Worker to care for a 17-year-old girl with complex health needs (wheelchair user, PEG feeding, epilepsy) at home and in the community.

Due to the rural location, a car and driving licence are essential. Shifts include Monday–Friday day shifts (8am–6pm) and waking nights; part-time or full-time options; zero-hours flexibility with stable weekly rotas.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driving licence and access to a car.
• Experience in care or supporting individuals with complex health needs is desirable.
• Willing to work Weekday days, evenings and nights as shifts rotate.
• Flexible zero-hours contract with the same client and regular rotas.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a 17-year-old with wheelchair use, PEG feeding and epilepsy.
• Support at home and in the community as part of a consistent care team.
• Attend full specialist training and shadow shifts with ongoing support from the Care Manager.
• Follow the individual care plan and priorities set by the team.

We’re looking to recruit a brand-new team of **Support Workers** to care for our brand new young client in Llanrug.Our client is a 17 year old teenage girl who lives at home with her family. She has complex health needs including wheelchair user, non-verbal, PEG fed and epilepsy. You will be supporting her on a 1:1 basis. We will provide full specialist training.Due to the rural location of the client’s home, you will need to be a driver with a car.**Shifts available:*** Weekday Day shifts - Mon-Fri (8am-6pm)* Waking nights available x2 a week* Part time or Full time avaialble, depending how many shifts a week you are looking forIn this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance.
