Job summary

Active Assistance is recruiting a dedicated Support Worker to care for a 17-year-old girl with complex health needs in Llanrug. You will provide 1:1 care, travel with a car, and work weekday days (Mon-Fri 8am-6pm) with two waking nights per week. Full specialist training will be provided.

The role operates on a flexible zero-hours contract, offering ongoing work and a stable pattern with the same client, supported by a strong care team.

Qualifications

  • Due to the rural location of the client’s home, you will need to be a driver with a car.
  • You will support a 17-year-old with complex health needs on a 1:1 basis and receive full specialist training.
  • Shifts include Weekday Day shifts (Mon-Fri 8am-6pm) and waking nights; zero-hours contract with ongoing work.

About the Role

Active Assistance are expanding our client base. We’re looking to recruit a brand-new team of Support Workers to care for our brand new young client in Llanrug. Our client is a 17 year old teenage girl who lives at home with her family. She has complex health needs including wheelchair user, non-verbal, PEG fed and epilepsy. You will be supporting her on a 1:1 basis. We will provide full specialist training. Due to the rural location of the client’s home, you will need to be a driver with a car. Shifts available: Weekday Day shifts - Mon-Fri (8am-6pm) Waking nights available x2 a week. In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.
