Active Care Group in Penarth is seeking a Children's Support Worker to join a new care team for our young client in the family home and community. You will deliver 2:1 support for an 11-year-old girl with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, VP shunt, and behavioural challenges, in a role with evenings Tue/Thu and a long Saturday shift.
Full specialist training will be provided, and there is a 0-hours contract arrangement with ongoing support from a Care Manager.

About the role: Active Care in the Home are expanding our client base, and have a new children's care package in Penarth.
This role is to support our brand new client, an 11 year old girl, in her family home and out in the community.
Our client has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, has a VP shunt, and is non-verbal and has behavioural challenges.
You will be working alongside another support worker for all shifts (2:1 care). One of the Support Workers on shift will be a driver and drive the client's vehicle.
Full specialist training will be provided.
When you will be working: Tuesday and Thursday evenings (3pm-7pm) and Saturdays (7hr long day shift)
While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract.
