Knowsley Council is recruiting an experienced Children’s Social Care Team Manager for the Help & Protect Service, overseeing work with Children in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP). The role is permanent, 36 hours per week, with hybrid working and office-based days.

The successful candidate will provide strong management oversight, supervise a team of social workers, support high-quality practice, and drive positive outcomes for children, young people and families.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a social work team.
• Strong safeguarding and CIN/CP experience.
• Ability to provide reflective supervision and oversight.
