CS UK Recruitment Ltd. presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Children’s Service Manager in the Warsop/Mansfield area. This role leads a brand-new children’s home, directing a skilled staff team while upholding safeguarding and Ofsted standards.

You will recruit, develop staff, manage resources and budgets, and build strong partnerships with families and external agencies. A strong commitment to child welfare and development is essential for success in this permanent, full-time

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (Children & Young People) or equivalent, working towards Level 5 or willing to enrol.
• Experience in a children’s residential setting and safeguarding.
• Leadership with excellent communication skills and drive to progress into management.

A fantastic brand new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Children’s Service Manager for children’s home based in the Warsop, Mansfield area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers

This is an amazing children’s care service and provides caring, supportive homes for children in the North West and Midlands, focusing on their wellbeing, personal growth, and development in a safe and nurturing environment

As the Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Support with the setup and development of a new children’s home
• Assist in leading and supporting a motivated staff team
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
• Support recruitment, staff development, and supervision processes
• Contribute to effective budget and resource management
• Promote a child-centred culture focused on safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Experience working in a children’s residential setting
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and children’s needs
• Leadership potential with excellent communication skills
• Passionate about supporting young people and progressing into management

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (Children & Young People or equivalent) - working towards Level 5 or willing to enrol

The successful Manager will receive an excellent salary £55,000 - £57,000 per annum - Pay frequency is monthly. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working through days. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
