Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Children’s Senior Practitioner to join Shropshire Council’s Case Management Team on a 3-month contract with hybrid working—one day in the office per week.

You will manage a varied caseload including CIN, CP and PLO, conduct regular home visits, and lead multi-agency discussions. You will prepare court reports and collaborate with partners to safeguard children and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of CIN, CP, PLO, and court proceedings.
• Undertaking regular home visits to assess welfare.
• Leading and participating in Core Group Meetings and multi-agency discussions.
• Preparing court reports, statements, and assessments for legal proceedings.
• Collaborating with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote outcomes.
