Job summary

CareTech Community Services is seeking a Children’s Residential Worker to support young people aged 11–18 in a Cardington-based home. You will help with daily routines, school prep, meals and activities, while keeping accurate records in a digital system and building trusting relationships.

The role includes a salary of £27,435 to £28,724 annually plus a £3,000 sleep-in bonus, with two weeks of induction and ongoing professional development. DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Warm, patient and a great listener focused on outcomes.
• No prior experience? training provided.
• Must pass enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with daily routines: getting ready for school and meal prep.
• Plan and join activities and outings.
• Maintain records using electronic care recording systems (ClearCare is an advantage).
• Keep a warm, homely environment and build trusting relationships with young people.
