Additional Resources Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Children’s Residential Care Worker to support children and young people with emotional, behavioural and complex needs in a safe, supportive home environment.

The role is full-time (~40 hours per week with sleep-ins) offering a basic salary of £28,230–£29,270 and potential total earnings up to £37,550 including sleep-in payments, with funded qualifications and extensive training.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people.
• Build positive relationships and support development across physical, emotional, social and educational areas.
• Support with emotional and behavioural difficulties using a patient, compassionate approach.
• Contribute to care plans, risk assessments and daily records with safeguarding in mind.
• Encourage independence, participation in education and community activities.
• Assist young people through difficult situations with guidance and reassurance.
• Collaborate with families and professionals to ensure appropriate support.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming residential environment in line with Ofsted standards.
