Job summary

CareTech Community Services is seeking a Children\'s Residential Support Worker in Delph, Oldham. The role involves supporting young people with daily routines, emotional support, and contributing to a stable home environment.

Salary ranges from £35,798 to £36,563 depending on Level 3/4 in Children\'s Residential/Workforce, with an average of 8 sleep-ins per month. A full UK manual driving licence is required, and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Manual UK driving licence required.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Open to ongoing development and learning with support from your manager and team.
• Previous experience in care roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines and help children get ready for school or college.
• Maintain up-to-date care plans and document feedback from young people.
• Provide emotional support and build trusting relationships with residents.
• Assist with light housekeeping and create a welcoming home environment.
• Plan and contribute to activities and day trips.
• Record activities using the electronic care system as required.
