Job summary

Cambian Group Plc is seeking a Children’s Residential Support Worker to build meaningful relationships and support young people in a warm, positive environment. You will provide guidance, assist with daily activities, and support education while maintaining records and contributing to planning meetings.

The role involves 40 hours per week on a rotational rota, with 2–3 shifts per week including sleep-in duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• Full UK driving licence preferable.
• No prior experience necessary, only a commitment and passion for working with young people.
• Attendance at a two-week training program is required.
• Must have availability for sleep-in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Providing emotional support during challenging times.
• Fostering ambition in young people, assisting them in achieving their goals and maximising their potential.
• Offering support in the educational pursuits of young individuals.
• Maintaining accurate records and preparing written reports for planning meetings, reviews or any other meetings as directed by the line manager.
