RATE: up to GBP15.77 ph (rate is dependent on shift)
TYPE: LOCUM
HOURS: Flexible (Long Day (8am-10pm), Waking Night (10pm-8am), Sleep In (10pm-8am)

Job Overview:

You will provide Children s Residential Support to young people on a shift-by-shift basis. You will predominantly be required to work at any of the Authority s Registered Children s Homes however, there may be occasions where workers will be supporting children in their own homes or alternative arrangements.

All staff must have a clear DBS, and agencies must provide evidence of vetting in accordance with RISCA (Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016)

Childrens Residential Support Workers Requirements

• Proven experience in working with children's services
• Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure
• Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
• Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
• Six months experience of working with children in a residential home setting
• QCF Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care, Children and Young People or equivalent or evidence of working towards.
• Social Care Wales registration for Children s Residential Setting
