Brook Street Social Care is excited to be working alongside a well-established care service and Lancashire's joint 4th UK provider supporting children and young people within residential homes across the North West.

Role: Registered Manager - Children and Young People

Location: Preston

Hours: Full time - Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Type: Permanent

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Driving Licence: Essential

This family-run children's service has 6 residential homes across the North West of England, each with no more than 3 young people and up to 3 beds per home. The Registered Manager position has become available due to the service's growth. We are seeking a Children's Registered Manager to join a 3-bed EBD children's home in Preston.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 2-5 years of experience in a Registered Manager or supervisory role working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
• Ability to work across multiple services, with staff often rotating between them.
• NVQ Level 5 Children and Young People qualification or working towards it.

Role Responsibilities:

• Oversee the children and young people in the home, ensuring a safe, caring, and homely environment.
• Promote best practice and therapeutic parenting within the team.
• Lead the team to deliver effective care and support.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and the home meets Ofsted regulations.
• Manage referrals and notifications in a timely manner.
• Participate in training, team meetings, supervisions, and annual reviews.
• Carry out on-call duties as required.
