Purosearch Ltd. Bromsgrove is seeking a Children’s Home Senior Residential Support Worker.

The role involves leading day-to-day care in a therapeutic 3-bed home and supporting a team of Residential Support Workers to deliver high-quality, safe and nurturing care for children and young people. You will work to safeguarding procedures, develop children’s emotional wellbeing and contribute to a stable home environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential care settings with children and young people.
• Ability to lead, mentor and support colleagues in a therapeutic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with safeguarding focus.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead day-to-day running of the children’s home.
• Mentor and supervise Residential Support Workers to deliver high standards of care.

Salary: £15.25–£16.25 per hour, depending on experience

Location: Bromsgrove, B61

Home Size: 3 Bed Therapeutic Children's Home

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Residential Support Worker within children's residential care
• Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People or Health & Social Care
• Full manual UK driving licence
• Passion for creating a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for children and young people
• Strong understanding of the needs of children and young people in residential care
• Motivated, resilient and positive approach
• Open-minded attitude towards working within a therapeutic environment
• Ability to lead, mentor and support colleagues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
• Willingness to take on additional responsibility and develop as a leader
• Provide high-quality, safe and nurturing care to children and young people
• Take a senior role in the day-to-day running of the children's home
