Job summary

The Esland Group Ltd is seeking a Registered Children's Home Manager for our Snowdrop House in Huddersfield. You will lead a small, safe, and nurturing home for 6 to 18-year-olds with complex behavioural, emotional, and social needs, ensuring top-quality care and regulatory compliance.

You will manage staff, champion safeguarding, and drive continuous improvements, with relocation assistance available and a competitive salary of up to £55,000 plus a bonus up to £8,500.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a role relevant to residential care of children.
• At least 12 months in a managerial/senior/team leader/supervisory role within care.
• In-depth knowledge of legislation, best practice and regulatory expectations (Ofsted).

Responsibilities

• Lead a standalone residential home for 6–18-year-olds with complex needs.
• Ensure high-quality care and compliant operation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee staff supervision, safeguarding, and service development.
