Esland is seeking a Registered Children's Home Manager for its Huddersfield solo service, caring for 6 to 18-year-olds with complex needs. The role involves leading a nurturing home, ensuring high-quality care, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is essential.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is highly desirable.
• At least 2 years in a role relevant to residential care of children is essential.
• At least 12 months in a managerial or senior supervisory role within care is essential.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and Ofsted regulations is essential.

Education

Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare

Minimum 2 years in a position relevant to residential care of children

Minimum of 12 months experience in a managerial/senior/team leader/supervisory role within care

In depth knowledge of relevant legislation, best practice and regulatory expectations, such as Ofsted regulations
