Job summary

Health Recruit Network is recruiting a Registered Manager for a two-bed mixed EBD children's home in the PR7 area, Lancashire. You will lead the day-to-day operation, ensuring safe, high-quality care and regulatory compliance with Ofsted.

The role focuses on developing the residential care team, safeguarding, care planning, and building strong relationships with placing authorities and families. A Level 5 Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or working towards it is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager in children's residential care.
• Experience supporting children and young people with EBD.

About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced Registered Children's Home Manager looking for a new challenge with an established and growing provider? We are recruiting on behalf of a children's residential care organisation seeking a dedicated Registered Manager for a two-bed mixed EBD home in the PR7 area. The provider has an established portfolio of children's homes, with a strong track record of achieving Good Ofsted ratings. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead at a home with a positive foundation, supported by an organisation with ambitious plans for further expansion. The service is currently preparing for its registration requirements, and there may be opportunities to support the development of additional services in the future, potentially including learning disability provision.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will take responsibility for day-to-day running of the home, ensuring children and young people receive safe, consistent and high-quality care.

• Supporting the provider's ongoing growth and service development plans.

About You

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within children's residential care.
• Experience supporting children and young people with EBD.
• A strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding and children's homes legislation.
• A relevant Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or be working towards it.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to build a positive, child-centred team culture.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of care and achieving positive outcomes.
