Job summary

Health Recruit Network seeks an experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a 3-bed EBD home rated Good by Ofsted. You will ensure safe, high-quality care, oversee the care team, and drive continual improvements with support from a wider management group.

The ideal candidate will have prior Registered Manager experience in children's residential care, experience with EBD, a Level 5 Diploma (or working towards it), and strong Ofsted/safeguarding knowledge.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within children's residential care.
• Experience supporting children and young people with EBD.
• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or working towards it.
• Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a residential care team.

About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced Registered Children's Home Manager looking for your next opportunity with an established provider? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established children's residential care organisation seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a settled three-bed EBD children's home. The home is currently rated Good by Ofsted, providing an excellent foundation for the incoming manager to maintain standards, continue developing the service and achieve positive outcomes for the young people in its care. The current Registered Manager is progressing into a new senior position within the organisation, creating an opportunity for someone to take the lead of an established home with continuity and support from the wider management team.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring young people receive safe, consistent and high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, managing and developing the residential care team.
• Maintaining the home's Good Ofsted rating and driving further improvements.
• Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding requirements and relevant legislation.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within children's residential care.
• Experience supporting children and young people with EBD.
• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or be working towards it.
• A strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding.
• A proven ability to lead and develop a residential care team.
• A genuine passion for improving the lives of vulnerable young people.
