Job summary

Superior Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Children’s Complex Care Support Worker to join our specialist team, providing one-to-one care for a 6-year-old client in Benenden. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to help a child thrive within the home while supporting the family’s wellbeing and independence.

Shift information: 12-hour waking nights in Benenden, Kent with available nights on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months care experience.
  • Experience with paediatric clients.
  • Right to work in the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Children’s Complex Care Support Worker, you will:

  • Deliver compassionate, person-centred care tailored to your client’s individual needs
  • Build a trusting and meaningful relationship with both the child and their family
  • Support clinical and daily living needs in a home environment
  • Work closely with our experienced clinical team to provide safe, high-quality care
  • Promote comfort, wellbeing, independence, and quality of life
Shift Information

Location: Benenden, Kent

Shift Pattern: 12-hour waking nights

Available Nights: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday

What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to hear from experienced support workers who have worked with children and are confident providing complex care.

Experience with the following is highly desirable:

  • PEG and/or Mickey Button feeding
  • Medication administration
  • Supporting children with complex healthcare needs
  • Community-based complex care experience

Most importantly, you’ll be caring, reliable, compassionate, and committed to delivering exceptional care to children and their families.

Responsibilities
  • To show the client dignity and respect at all times.
  • To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.
  • To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
  • To be fun, friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
  • To closely observe and monitor the client and keep thorough documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months care experience.
  • Experience supporting paediatric clients.
  • Full UK manual driving license.
  • Right to work in the UK.
