Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is seeking a Children’s Complex Care Assistant to support a non-verbal young lady with West Syndrome in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. You will receive full training and clinical support to develop skills in PEG feed management, seizure monitoring, moving and handling, and personal care.

You’ll work Days and Waking Nights on a part-time basis, with ongoing assessment, emotional support, light domestic duties, and clear opportunities for progression within CCH.

Qualifications

• Previous complex care experience with children, including epilepsy and PEG feeding is advantageous.
• Demonstrates care, compassion and resilience in demanding environments.
• Willingness to undergo DBS checks and participate in full training.

Responsibilities

• Provide PEG feed management and medication administration as required.
• Monitor and respond to seizures with appropriate clinical interventions.
• Assist with moving and handling and delivering personal care.
• Offer emotional and social support while facilitating daily tasks.
• Carry out light domestic duties as part of caring responsibilities.
