Job summary

City and County Healthcare Group Ltd. is seeking a Children’s Complex Care Assistant in Bletchley to support a non-verbal young girl with West Syndrome.

You will receive full training and clinical supervision to develop skills in complex care areas including PEG feeding, medication administration, and seizure management. You’ll provide emotional and social support, assist with daily living tasks, and manage light domestic duties as part of a dedicated care team.

Qualifications

• Previous complex care experience in working with children is preferred.
• Background in epilepsy and PEG feeding would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated care, compassion and resilience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support a non-verbal young lady with West Syndrome by monitoring and assisting with daily tasks.
• Administer clinical interventions, medication management and seizure support as required.
• Assist with personal care, moving and handling, and light domestic duties while maintaining emotional support.

What you’ll do

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Children’s Complex Care Assistant.

You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as PEG feed management, inclusive of medication administration, seizure management, moving and handling equipment and providing personal care.

The client is a non-verbal young lady with West Syndrome, where on your day-to-day you will be supporting her through everyday tasks, monitoring and administering clinical interventions, offering emotional and social support and light domestic duties.

Qualifications

What you’ll need

Previous complex care experience in working with children, with a background in epilepsy and peg feeding would make your application very advantageous as well as plenty of care, compassion, and resilience.
