Job summary

Bentley Heath Church of England Primary School is seeking two Learning Support Assistants to provide child-specific support for pupils in Nursery and Year 1. The roles are fixed-term, 15 hours per week during term time, with working hours 09:00-12:00, Monday to Friday.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver individualised, strengths-based support, helping pupils develop independence, confidence and a love of learning in a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting neurodivergent children including SEMH.
• Calm, patient and flexible approach to learning and behaviour support.
• Level 2 qualification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide child-specific support for pupils in Nursery and Year 1.
• Work with class teacher, SENCo and staff to deliver individualised support.
• Help pupils develop independence, confidence and love of learning.
