Candidates will have an NVQ Level 3 in supporting Teachingand Learning or the equivalent, while a good level of numeracy and literacy isessential (GCSE Grade C /4 and above or equivalent). Previous experience of working with children,particularly those with additional needs, would be advantageous. Enthusiasm,commitment and the ability to form positive relationships are equallyimportant.
The rolewill be a temporary child specific role for 30 hours 50 minutes per week,Monday to Friday, exclusive of INSET days, from 08:30 to 15.10 with an unpaid30-minute lunch break. The position willbe paid on Band C point 8 - 14 currently £26,824 – £29,540 (pay award pending)pro rata dependant on qualifications and experience.
