Job summary

Greswold Primary School in Ulverley Green is seeking a caring, enthusiastic Child Specific Learning Support Assistant to join our KS2 SEND team. You will support pupils' learning, wellbeing and personal development within our inclusive school community.

The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, a good level of numeracy and literacy, and experience with children with additional needs.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• Good numeracy and literacy are essential (GCSE C/4+ or equivalent).
• Experience with children, particularly with additional needs, is advantageous.

Job description

We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic anddedicated Child Specific Learning Support Assistant to join our talented KS2SEND team. Candidates will have an NVQ Level 3 in supporting Teachingand Learning or the equivalent, while a good level of numeracy and literacy isessential (GCSE Grade C /4 and above or equivalent). Previous experience of working with children,particularly those with additional needs, would be advantageous. Enthusiasm,commitment and the ability to form positive relationships are equallyimportant.

The rolewill be a temporary child specific role for 30 hours 50 minutes per week,Monday to Friday, exclusive of INSET days, from 08:30 to 15.10 with an unpaid30-minute lunch break. The position willbe paid on Band C point 8 - 14 currently £26,824 – £29,540 (pay award pending)pro rata dependant on qualifications and experience.
