Job summary

Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Medical Secretary to provide comprehensive secretarial support within the Children's Services department. The role covers data validation, appointment bookings, dictation, and report production.

The successful candidate will work as part of the secretarial team to ensure data accuracy for clinical and business reporting. NHS experience and strong organisational skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience of working face-to-face and/or by telephone with the general public.
• Knowledge of Information Governance and confidentiality; familiarity with NHS data handling.
• Proficiency with MS Office and patient administration systems; typing/word processing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support within Children's Services.
• Validate patient data and book appointments; prepare clinical letters and reports.
• Process clinic letters using dictation systems and ensure RTT reporting accuracy.
