Job Description:

Role: Child Care Solicitor (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to 50k

Location: Manchester or Blackburn – Hybrid

The Role:

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in all aspects of Child Care work, managing and supervising solicitors, trainee solicitors, and caseworkers/paralegals.
  • Assist with training and development within the team.
  • Handle a variety of care cases including Legal Aid/CCMS procedures, Care Orders, Supervision Orders, Emergency Protection Orders, and more.
  • Represent clients including parents, grandparents, and children, directly or through appointed Guardians.
  • Develop the department, generate work, and build contacts.
  • Work flexibly in the office, at home, or in a preferred workspace.
