Job description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Legal Executive to join the firms dynamic and supportive legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid/remote working. Role Overview:

As a Clinical Negligence Fee Earner, you will manage your own caseload of clinical negligence claims from instruction through to resolution. The role requires a strong understanding of medical negligence law, excellent client care, and the ability to handle cases both efficiently and empathetically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a caseload of pre-litigated and litigated Clinical Negligence matters
  • Assess medical records and expert reports to advise clients appropriately
  • Draft legal documents, including letters of claim and court pleadings
  • Conduct negotiations and liaise with defendants, insurers, and medical professionals
  • Provide clear and professional legal advice to clients throughout the process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records using a case management system
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and firm policies
  • Participate in business development and marketing activities as required

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in handling Clinical Negligence claims (pre- and/or post-litigation) Sound knowledge of relevant legal procedures and case law

Location & Working Arrangements:

This is a remote-based role, with attendance at the office required on an as-needed basis. Specific working arrangements will be discussed and agreed upon the onboarding process.
