Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking a qualified Children and Young People’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) to join the Citywide Targeted CAMHS Team. You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions, undertake assessments, and work with families to promote resilience and positive outcomes.

The role involves one-to-one and group work, risk management including safeguarding, and collaboration with schools and partner agencies in a hybrid working model in multiple Nottingham locations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering evidence-based interventions to children, young people and families.
• Experience identifying, assessing and managing risk including safeguarding and self-harm.
• Knowledge of safeguarding processes, risk assessment and early intervention approaches.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one and group mental health interventions for children and young people.
• Provide consultation, advice and psychoeducational training to professionals and partner agencies.
• Collaborate with schools, health services, social care and community organisations.
