Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking a compassionate CAMHS Practitioner Level 2 to join the Citywide Targeted CAMHS Team. You will assess and support children, young people and families with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties using trauma-informed, relationship-based approaches.

In a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver short-term, evidence-based interventions and coordinate with education, health, social care and voluntary sector partners to ensure timely support.

Qualifications

• A relevant professional qualification in Social Work, Nursing, Teaching or related discipline at Degree level or above.
• Substantial post-qualification experience in assessment and treatment of children and young people with mental health difficulties.
• Specialist training or accreditation in an evidence-based therapeutic intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group interventions.
• Contribute to the CAMHS Single Point of Access.
• Collaborate with education, health, social care and voluntary sector partners.
