Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking a motivated and skilled Qualified Children and Young People\u2019s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) to join our Citywide Targeted CAMHS Team. Working within a supportive multi-disciplinary service, you will deliver high-quality, outcome-focused and evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.

You will undertake assessments, screening and formulation-informed intervention planning, delivering

Qualifications

• Experience of assessing and delivering evidence-based interventions to children, young people and families.
• Experience identifying, assessing and managing risk, safeguarding and self-harm.
• Strong knowledge of child development, neurodevelopment, child wellbeing and adolescent mental health.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one and group interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
• Undertake assessments, screening and formulation-informed planning and deliver structured interventions.
• Collaborate with schools, health services, social care and community organisations to improve access to support and promote resilience.
