Job summary

Ordnance Survey in Southampton is seeking a strategic Head of Resilience to lead our enterprise-wide resilience capability. You will shape the resilience roadmap, align it to risk and government expectations, and embed business continuity and crisis management across the organisation.

Qualifications

You will be an experienced resilience professional with a proven track record of leading organisational resilience, business continuity or crisis management capabilities within a complex environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the evolution of OS's organisational resilience capability and maturity journey.
Design and embed effective business continuity, crisis management and incident response frameworks.
Prepare the organisation through exercising, scenario planning and resilience testing.
Support Executive and Senior Leaders during incidents, helping drive structured and informed decision-making under pressure.
Build trusted relationships with government bodies, emergency services, suppliers and critical partners.
Create a culture where resilience is understood as everyone's responsibility.
Develop resilience knowledge, awareness and capability across the organisation through training, coaching and exercises.
