Job summary

Babcock in Plymouth is seeking a Head of Engineering Data and Information to provide strategic leadership for digital engineering capability and information management across Devonport Engineering. You will lead the development of people, processes and systems to enable delivery of digital and data infrastructure objectives, while influencing senior stakeholders and driving transformation.

This full-time role offers hybrid working, SC clearance, and a pathway to build organisational capability

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in engineering, digital engineering or data management.
• Experience developing engineering/digital information strategies.
• Proven ability to lead complex programmes and business transformation initiatives.
• Chartered engineer status and a relevant degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Digital Engineering discipline and deliver strategic engineering data and information management objectives.
• Develop and implement roadmaps for digital engineering, information management and technology.
• Build organisational capability through recruitment, coaching and leadership of specialist teams.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement across engineering systems and information management processes.
