Chief Marketing Officer

We burst onto the scene as the OGs of female-first activewear back in 1998. Since then, we've been on a global mission to Empower Women Through Fitness and Beyond. Our community encourages women to embrace their bodies and capabilities, using responsibly sourced materials, launching innovative collections like FemTech, and supporting girls into sports through our foundation. We are now seeking a new Chief Marketing Officer to lead our next chapter.

As CMO, you will be the strategic and creative leader behind Sweaty Betty's global brand evolution, shaping the future of the business and inspiring a community of women worldwide. You will be part of the Executive Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Brand Leadership: Own and evolve the global brand strategy, ensuring consistency and relevance across markets.
  2. Creative Direction: Lead campaign development, content, and visual identity, collaborating with design, content, and product teams.
  3. Global Expansion: Localize brand strategies for new markets, identifying growth opportunities.
  4. Marketing Execution: Oversee integrated campaigns across channels, aligning messaging and storytelling.
  5. Digital & Social Innovation: Enhance our digital presence, leading influencer and community programs.
  6. Customer Engagement: Ensure an engaging customer experience across all touchpoints.
  7. Performance & Insights: Define KPIs, analyze data, and optimize strategies.
  8. Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a high-performing marketing team.
Experience Must-Haves:
  • 10+ years in senior marketing roles within lifestyle, fashion, wellness, or DTC brands.
  • Experience in brand transformation and international expansion.
  • Strong creative and strategic skills with a portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, social media, influencer engagement, and content creation.
  • Understanding of brand-building in a DTC context with a customer-focused approach.
  • Leadership experience managing teams and agencies.
  • Knowledge of marketing tech, analytics, and emerging platforms.
  • Passion for women's empowerment and community-building.
  • Collaborative leadership style with a drive for impact.
