A leading company in female-first activewear seeks a Chief Marketing Officer to drive global brand evolution and empower women through fitness. The CMO will lead brand strategy, marketing execution, and community engagement, ensuring cultural relevance and connection across markets. This role requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in lifestyle and consumer brands, ready to inspire a high-performing team.
We burst onto the scene as the OGs of female-first activewear back in 1998. And since then, we’ve been on a global mission to Empower Women Through Fitness and Beyond. Our sisterhood treats every day like it’s made for moving, and we strive to make everyday better- from using responsibly sourced materials, launching our first-ever FemTech collection – designed to keep you moving through menstruation, maternity and menopause – and supporting girls from all backgrounds to get into sport through our Sweaty Betty Foundation. Now, we are looking for a new Chief Marketing Office to lead our next exciting chapter to Empower Women Through Fitness and Beyond.

As CMO, you’ll be the strategic and creative force behind Sweaty Betty’s global brand evolution — leading the charge to build a connected, empowered, and inspired community of women worldwide. You’ll sit on the Executive Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business.
Brand Leadership: Own and evolve the global brand strategy. Define our unique positioning, purpose, and tone of voice — ensuring we’re bold, consistent, and culturally relevant across markets.
Creative Direction: Lead the development of standout campaigns, content, and visual identity. Partner closely with design, content, and product teams to deliver a seamless and engaging brand experience.
Global Expansion: Localise our brand strategy for new international markets, balancing global consistency with cultural nuance. Identify growth opportunities through partnerships, collaborations, and new channels.
Marketing Execution: Oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and experiential channels. Align seasonal storytelling and messaging across departments.
Digital & Social Innovation: Elevate our social and digital presence with smart, platform-specific strategies. Lead influencer, ambassador, and community engagement programs that reflect our brand values.
Customer Engagement: Work with CX, retail, and ecommerce teams to ensure the customer experience is aligned and engaging at every touchpoint — from store to app to social.
Performance & Insights: Define and track KPIs across brand initiatives. Use data, insights, and market feedback to refine and optimise.
Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a high-performing brand marketing team. Champion creativity, collaboration, and bold thinking.

You’re a brand visionary and strategic operator with a proven ability to turn purpose into performance. You’ve worked with culturally resonant consumer brands, and you know what it takes to scale a business globally while staying true to its roots.
