Job summary

Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust seeks a senior facilities leader to head the Facilities team, including catering, domestic services, portering, security and car parking. The postholder will oversee health, safety and fire compliance across the Trust and work with the fire safety officer.

The role requires NEBOSH and ISOH certificates, and postgraduate business management knowledge or equivalent practical experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in estates and facilities management in a large organisation.
• Knowledge of waste management and cleaning management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational and strategic delivery of the Facilities team across multiple services.
• Line manage facilities staff, chefs, and administrators.
• Ensure health and safety, fire safety and security compliance.
• Oversee budget of £2.09M and authorise purchases within limits.
• Develop long-term strategic operational plans with the Director of Estates and Facilities.
• Manage performance against quality measures and mandatory training.
