Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a senior leader to own the enterprise data governance, stewardship and triage framework across the firm. You will establish governance policies, data quality measures and ownership, while guiding cross-functional teams across business, operations, technology and data management.

You will partner with senior leaders to resolve conflicting data definitions, drive standards adoption and enable trusted data products for internal and client-facing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in enterprise data governance and related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of data ownership, policies, standards, data quality, metadata and lineage.
• Ability to translate data strategy into operating models, governance forums and measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and driving accountability.
• Understanding of data movement from source to enterprise data products and outputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance, stewardship and data triage initiatives.
• Establish priorities, responsibilities, decision rights and ways of working.
• Own the enterprise framework for governance, including policies, controls and ownership.
• Oversee data triage, root cause analysis and preventative controls.
• Certify critical data elements and data products used internally and by clients.
• Define data ownership across business, operations and technology.
• Partner with senior leaders to resolve conflicting definitions and drive standards adoption.
• Establish measures for data health, risks, decisions and remediation progress.
• Support data sign-off for Gold-layer products and analytics enablement.
• Build and lead a high-performing data management team.
